Join us at The Flicks on Thursday, November 13th, at 7:00 PM for a special screening of Between the Mountain and the Sky. Between the Mountain and the Sky is a powerful documentary from the Duplass Brothers, chronicling over 20 years the journey of Maggie Doyne and her work in Nepal. What began as a single act of compassion grew into a home for more than 50 orphaned children. When tragedy strikes, the film turns inward, exploring grief, resilience, and the courage it takes to continue in the face of heartbreak. Shot through intimate vérité footage and raw home videos, it offers no polished interview segments—only unguarded humanity. It’s a moving testament to what love, loss, and deep commitment can bring into our lives.
